October Goals!

It should come as no surprise that I am a list maker. For everything. Always.

It’s just in me. If I cannot write something down, it sticks in my head and haunts me until my greedy little fingers can wrap themselves around a notepad and pen.

This transition of working from  home has revealed that the demands for my time and attention are plenty and it’s easy for my day to be stolen by tasks that feel unproductive. So as the months fly by I am determined to have more accountability and focus on getting to where I want to be.

So begins, another list: Monthly Goals.

3 Things September Made Me Thankful For:

1) Pumpkin Everything

I’m currently swooning over Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Rooibos tea and dream of finding a pumpkin coffee to enjoy with warm vanilla almond milk. Fall goals.

2) Flexibility

With our family schedule ramping up and sickness running wild, I could not be more thankful for the blessing of a flexible schedule. I love being 100% available to Norah and intentionally loving Rob, but also honoring my wild dreams and need for outlets.

3) New Friendships

Thank you, Jesus, for friends. I am not good at being new. This heart was made for connection and lots of hugs, so not having people around me who know me and need to hear my heart has been rough. Slowly that is changing and God is blessing that side of me. I’m thankful for coffee dates, movie nights, and people being willing to show up when life is messy.
