Twenty years of marriage has taught me that building a life with intention means carving out room for it in the middle of work, kids, and community. Ours is a home built on the belief that hard seasons make a family softer where it counts and steadier everywhere else, and it shows in everything we touch.

That philosophy plays out room by room in our Clovis, California home, where a Collected Traditional sensibility mixes inherited pieces with new finds, and no two rooms tell quite the same story. It shows up, too, in a wellness practice I've rebuilt from the ground up, and in years of writing candidly about family life, including the adoption story that shaped this one.

At the center of it, I'm a genuine communicator: a cultivator of community who is happiest with a friend, a real conversation, and a cup of coffee, unhurried. We believe authentic community isn't found, it's built, and that belief has quietly become the throughline of everything we do.
